In Greek, the mouth is called «stomi» and the stomach «stoma» or «stomio». It is easy to see the connection. The digestion starts in the mouth. After the mouth the stomach is the next station and so on further down. My guess is that the English word «stomach» have its roots in Greek. My stomach print is turned to the right. In the body it is turned to the left. In printmaking everything is as if seen trough a mirror.
